FLYUSA Launches $100 Million Jet Card Recovery Program for Private Flyers With Stranded Funds

FLYUSA has launched its $100 Million Jet Card Recovery Program, a new initiative designed to help private flyers recover the value of prepaid funds that have become stranded with other private aviation providers. The program makes up to $100 million in promotional flight rebates available to qualifying customers, with no deposit or prepayment required to begin flying with FLYUSA.

Qualifying customers receive a complimentary FLYUSA Gold Membership, valued at $4,995, and can pay for private travel as they go. Customers also receive a 20% rebate in FLYUSA flight credits on qualifying flight spend, allowing them to earn credits toward recovering up to 100% of their verified qualifying stranded balance. For example, a customer with a verified $100,000 stranded balance could earn up to $100,000 in FlyUSA flight credits after $500,000 in qualifying flight spend.

According to CEO Barry Shevlin, the program was created for private flyers who may be reluctant to place another large prepaid balance with a provider after experiencing a loss. By allowing customers to keep their money until they need to fly, FLYUSA aims to rebuild trust through a pay-as-you-go model while providing a path for customers to regain the value of funds they can no longer access.

FLYUSA positions the program as part of a broader commitment to accountability in private aviation. Beyond charter and jet card services, the company operates aircraft under its FAA Part 135 certificate and provides aircraft management, maintenance, charter and 24/7 operational support. The nationwide program is available to qualifying private flyers, with FLYUSA reviewing documentation of stranded balances to determine eligibility.
